Not Letting Go

Hey.

As the weather is starting to get better, and the school year is coming to an end, there’s more opportunities to enjoy myself and actually have fun. However, I’ve noticed that I tend to prevent myself from doing so because I don’t like to let things go and see the positive side of things. I end up depressing myself and make believe that everything sucks, when things are way better in reality.

I’m going to try to be more positive, because I’ll know I’ll regret it in the end.

Anyways, here’s another random list about today.

I met with my guidance counselor to make my schedule for next year, and I’m definitely going to regret filling my schedule with difficult classes. Oh well.

I stayed after school to watch my schools play because my friend was in it. I liked my friends performance because… there’re my friend. But, the play was kind of a miss. It reminded me of this SNL skit:

The play was not written by the school, which was their original plan. They chose “All I Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten”. I know it’s pretty popular, but I don’t think it was anything special. This may just be because the actors did not do the best job in performing it. Or, I might just be a really harsh critic, and shouldn’t be trusted in reviewing plays.

Even though the play wasn’t amazing, I’m still happy that I went. It’s nice feeling like you’re part of community, it makes me look forward for the future. This is why I want to let go more, because there’s just too many things that I’m missing out on.

Anyways, that’s all about today. Can’t wait to chill during the weekend. Thanks for reading!
